01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Sushi, teppanyaki, and kaiseki dining come together under one roof at Junisoh, located on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Tokyo in Nishi-Shinjuku. The floor plan organizes distinct culinary traditions around central walkways, setting teppan grills and kappo dining booths apart from an intimate sushi counter with its own distinct palette in the back. This thoughtful layout lets guests tailor their setting to the meal at hand while sharing the same refined space.

At the sushi counter, chefs prepare nigiri and sashimi courses piece by piece directly before diners. Highlights include aromatic seared nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), crisp abalone, and rich sea urchin, showcasing meticulously handled seafood served at peak freshness. Midday options range from the approachable Sushi Raku to the decorative Hana Temari Sushi, while dinner brings comprehensive tasting courses such as Sushi Ai and Sushi Sumire.

Those craving sizzle and grilled meats can opt for the teppanyaki counter and its dedicated set courses. Alongside Kuroge Wagyu fillet and sirloin steaks, selections such as the Yui course combine scallop, splendid alfonsino, and seasonal grilled vegetables. Diners can also opt to finish their meal by swapping the plain steamed rice for fragrant garlic rice.

Private dining rooms make the venue equally suited to relaxed business gatherings and celebratory family dinners. Complemented by lunch and dinner kaiseki courses and gozen set meals, the beverage program features beer, wine, and sake, allowing guests to settle in comfortably whatever the gathering calls for.
